Koenigsegg Entire Inventory Now Sold Out

“All units are currently sold out.”

If you head over to Koenigsegg website today, you’ll see four models marked as “current”: the Jesko in both Attack and Absolut editions, the four-seat Gemera, and the retro-inspired CC850. The homepage also features the recently unveiled Sadar’s Spear. For affluent car lovers, the thought of purchasing one might cross your mind. However, you should reconsider — all of these models are already completely sold out.

No Koenigsegg For You

According to HARJA, Koenigsegg founder and CEO, Christian von Koenigsegg, confirmed that every single unit of all their models has been sold. The company currently has no available build slots or vehicles for purchase. It appears that no amount of money can secure you a Jesko, Gemera, CC850, or even the newly unveiled Sadar’s Spear. Remarkably, all 30 units of the supercharged Jesko were sold out shortly after its debut just a week ago.

This isn’t the end of the road for Koenigsegg, though. Christian von Koenigsegg revealed that the company is developing a new model line expected to debut in about a year or more. This upcoming lineup will feature some unique variants and, notably, will not be electric. So, if you’ve got the funds for a Koenigsegg, you’ll just have to wait a bit longer.

We May Still See Special Versions of the “Current” Models

Even though all Koenigsegg models are sold out and a brand-new lineup is still some time away, that doesn’t mean we won’t be seeing exciting new Koenigseggs soon. While every car has been sold, many have yet to be built. Koenigsegg only began production of the CC850 earlier this year and is still assembling several of its other models.

Additionally, many of these cars are highly customized for their owners, often featuring unique details that warrant special announcements and reveals. For example, some Jeskos boast real gold leaf on their exteriors, while the exclusive “Plus” version is tuned to run on E85 fuel and delivers over 1,500 horsepower. So, it’s likely we’ll hear more about unique, one-of-a-kind customer cars in the near future.

We wouldn’t be surprised if Koenigsegg continues to chase new records. Just a few months ago, a Jesko Absolut appeared to set a new top speed record in the standing mile, overtaking the Hennessey Venom F5. When it comes to lap times, the Sadar’s Spear looks like the perfect contender to reclaim the fastest lap at Laguna Seca. The current record-holder, Czinger, only narrowly beat the Jesko Attack by 0.11 seconds.

In short, even as we await Koenigsegg next new model, there’s plenty of exciting news likely still ahead from the Swedish hypercar maker.
