Rezvani Newest Model Can’t Deflect Bullets, But It Will Definitely Turn Heads

Rezvani’s new design studio is moving away from its Batman-inspired look to create a stunning Porsche-inspired supercar.

You might know Rezvani Motors for its bold, apocalypse-style SUVs like the Tank, which is based on the Jeep Wrangler, and the bulletproof Knight, built on the Lamborghini Urus—because apparently, the Urus alone wasn’t extreme enough. Rezvani is also the brand behind innovative gear like backpacks that transform into bulletproof vests and even bulletproof glass tables.

Now, Rezvani Motors is launching a new design division called Rezvani Retro, dedicated to a fresh direction: customized Porsche 911s. The company has just officially revealed its first creation under this banner, the Rezvani Retro RR1.

What Is the Rezvani Retro RR1?

Rezvani Retro plans to produce a limited edition of just 50 RR1 cars. Built on the modern 992-generation Porsche 911 chassis, the RR1’s bodywork pays tribute to the iconic Porsche 935 race car that triumphed at Le Mans in the late 1970s. The very first unit, crafted for a client in California, features the classic Martini racing livery. Rezvani Retro proudly describes the RR1 as combining “timeless design” with “contemporary engineering.”

The RR1 features a body primarily made of carbon fiber, while keeping the original Porsche 911 doors on both the driver’s and passenger’s sides. It’s available in two variants: the RR1 600 and the RR1 750.

The Rezvani Retro RR1 600

The RR1 600 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine, derived from the 992 Carrera. It features rear-wheel drive and offers a choice between a six-speed manual transmission or a seven-speed PDK automatic. True to its name, the RR1 600 delivers 600 horsepower and can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds.

The Rezvani Retro RR1 750

Built on the Porsche 911 Turbo S platform, the RR1 750 features a turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivering a whopping 750 horsepower. This all-wheel-drive model comes exclusively with the PDK transmission. According to Rezvani Retro, it can rocket from 0 to 60 mph in an astonishing 2.0 seconds.

How Much Does a Rezvani Retro RR1 Porsche Build Cost?

As you might expect, customizing a Porsche 911 isn’t cheap. The starting price for a Rezvani Retro 911 build is $195,000 before adding any options. Unlike many restomods that use older or spec chassis, the RR1 is built on a brand-new Porsche 911 Carrera. For some perspective, the current base Porsche 911 Carrera starts at $132,300. Adding Porsche’s $2,350 delivery, processing, and handling fee brings the absolute minimum starting price for an RR1 build to around $329,650.

Keep in mind, that price doesn’t include any optional extras. This time, spy-style gadgets like smokescreens and tear gas dispensers aren’t on the menu. Instead, Rezvani offers a range of performance upgrades and equipment to transform the RR1 into a serious track machine.

  • Brembo GT-S 6 piston caliper brakes – $12,500
  • Center Lock Wheel Conversion – $12,500
  • Ohlins Motorsport TTX-Pro Coil-overs for street/track use – $8,500
  • Paint To Sample Exterior Paint – $8,500
  • Custom Livery – $7,500
  • Steel Roll Cage – $5,500
  • Custom Steering Wheel – $4,500
  • Turbo Fan Wheel Covers – $4,500

If this sounds somewhat familiar, that’s because Rezvani first announced the RR1 earlier this year. At the time, they shared basic specs and a few digital renderings since the physical car hadn’t been built yet. But the model you see now is the real, finished product. Whether features like bulletproof doors will be offered in the future is still uncertain.
