The Jeep Wrangler legendary off-road prowess and iconic open-air design may be more attainable than ever. In select areas, the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe plug-in hybrid can be leased for an astonishingly low $76 per month.
Naturally, there’s plenty of fine print to consider. Still, the plug-in Wrangler does come with some attractive deals for those who are undecided—though they can be tricky to track down. Act fast, though, as these offers won’t last past the end of the month.
Jeep Is Nearly Giving Away the 4xe
CarsDirect uncovered lease deals as extreme as the Jeep itself. By finding the right combination, you could lease a Jeep that normally sells for $50,000 for just $76 per month.
The limitations aren’t exactly dealbreakers, but they are significant. For starters, the offer applies only to the Sport S trim and comes with an ultra-low-mileage lease of just 5,000 miles per year. You’ll also need a $5,269 down payment, which isn’t trivial. With a 24-month term, that gives you just 10,000 miles to enjoy in your Jeep Wrangler.
Even more important, the lowest price depends heavily on your region. Enter a West Coast ZIP code, and you can snag the deal—but an Ohio ZIP returns $163 per month for the same model. Some areas don’t offer lease incentives at all. On the West Coast, the $76 monthly price factors in $8,550 in national lease cash, a $7,500 federal incentive, and a $2,000 lease bonus. The Midwest, however, doesn’t qualify for the bonus cash.
Remove the down payment, and that $76/month lease jumps to $306/month. Still, it’s a solid deal if you don’t drive much—and with the 4xe’s plug-in hybrid system, you could save even more on fuel.
For comparison, a gas-only Jeep Wrangler Sport S with the same 10% down payment costs around $252 per month—and $451 per month with no down payment. That makes the 4xe not only significantly cheaper but also equipped with a far superior powertrain.
Finding One Could Be Challenging
As with any lease, the details can get tricky. There’s a potential $500 loyalty discount, and some dealers might offer lower prices. But tracking down that basic Sport S can be tough, and once you’re in the finance office, taxes, acquisition fees, and other add-ons are likely to appear.
Higher-spec Jeep Wrangler 4xe models qualify for the same incentives. That means a Rubicon can be leased for $211 per month with a 10% down payment, or $487 per month with zero down. Adding mileage increases the cost, but even with 15,000 miles per year, the zero-down lease comes to just $589 per month.
When the federal incentive expires at the end of September, prices will rise sharply. That $76/month deal jumps to $403, or $634 with zero down. Stellantis may increase its own lease incentives to attract buyers, or residual values could rise—but it’s unlikely we’ll see an advertised price this low again anytime soon.
As the incentives wind down, both buyers and dealers will be motivated to strike a deal. It’s prime time to move inventory—and your opportunity to negotiate an outstanding lease on any PHEV or fully electric model.
