Although it doesn’t match the popularity of the Rogue, the Nissan Kicks remains a strong seller, with 50,394 units delivered in the U.S. during the first half of 2025. This places the 2026 Nissan Kicks behind the Rogue in Nissan’s SUV lineup and fourth overall, just trailing the Altima. Clearly, it’s a key model for the brand, with affordability as its main appeal. For 2026, Nissan maintains that attractive pricing, even as the overall lineup sees a modest price increase.
The 2026 Nissan Kicks S FWD now starts at $22,430, marking a $600 increase over the 2025 model’s $21,830 price. The top-tier Kicks SR AWD sees a smaller jump, starting at $28,160—just $480 more than last year. Similar modest increases apply across the rest of the lineup. On the plus side, Nissan has kept the delivery and destination fee at $1,495, unlike the Frontier, which experienced a rise in handling charges.

Still an Appealing Budget SUV Despite the Price Hike
Regarded as one of the top budget-friendly SUVs, the Kicks staying under the $25,000 mark is welcome news for cost-conscious buyers. Even with the modest price increase, it remains among the most affordable SUVs available, suggesting steady sales momentum going forward. Notably, the Kicks posted a 52.8% sales jump in the first half of the year, largely thanks to its comprehensive revamp, which brought upgrades across nearly every aspect of the model.
That said, the 2026 Nissan Kicks sees only a handful of updates. The base Kicks S now comes standard with a 12.3-inch infotainment display, complete with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay—replacing the outdated 7-inch screen that lacked smartphone connectivity. Additionally, two USB-C ports have been added, helping to keep the compact SUV future-ready for modern devices.
Added Options for Select Trims
For 2026, Nissan has also introduced a new Cold Weather Package for the 2026 Nissan Kicks SV and SR trims. This bundle includes heated front seats, heated mirrors, and rear floor heater ducts—ideal for buyers in colder regions of the U.S. As before, customers can choose between front-wheel and all-wheel drive, depending on their driving needs.
Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 continues as standard across the Kicks lineup, with Intelligent Cruise Control included on both the base S and mid-level SV trims. The top-tier SR adds ProPILOT Assist, bringing lane-centering functionality along with the suite of other advanced driver-assist features.
Nissan hasn’t announced an exact arrival date for the 2026 Nissan Kicks, but it’s expected to reach showrooms later in the year.
