2026 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak Breaks Free from the Ordinary
Dodge’s Jailbreak customization program lets buyers create a Durango SRT Hellcat that’s truly one of a kind.
Bentley has Mulliner, Rolls-Royce offers Bespoke, Ferrari boasts Atelier — and Dodge is reviving its own unique twist with Jailbreak. Returning for 2026, the Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak puts customization front and center, letting buyers craft a performance SUV that stands apart from the rest. This build-your-own-special-edition approach removes many of the typical mass-production constraints, giving enthusiasts the freedom to create a Durango as distinctive as their personality.
Craving a 710-horsepower, three-row SUV decked out in green paint with blue stripes, orange brake calipers, brass badges, red seats, and sepia seatbelts? Soon, Dodge will make that fantasy a reality — or, if you prefer, something far more understated. According to the brand, the 2026 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak offers a staggering range of customization possibilities, with more than six million potential combinations. That means it’s highly unlikely any two Jailbreak Durangos will ever be identical. Available personalization choices include:
- Six exterior colors: Green Machine, Destroyer Gray, Diamond Black, Octane Red, Vapor Gray, and White Knuckle
- Six wheels: Machine face with Dark Pockets, Satin Carbon, Lights Out, Brass Monkey, Forged Y-spoke Lights Out, and Forged Y-Spoke Brass Monkey
- Six exterior badge colors: Brass Monkey, Midnight Metallic, silver, red, orange, and yellow
- Five seat colors: Black Laguna leather and Alcantara, Hammerhead Gray leather, Demonic Red Laguna leather, Ebony Red Nappa leather, and sepia leather
- Five stripe options: Gunmetal, Redline Red/Black, red, silver, and blue
- Four brake caliper colors: red, black, yellow, and orange
- Four seatbelt colors: Hammerhead Gray, black, red, and sepia
Jailbreak buyers can also pick from three seating layouts, offering space for five, six, or seven passengers. For those who want to take things up a notch, the available Premium Group bundles a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with a suite of advanced driver-assistance technologies. Additional standalone upgrades include an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, suede headliner, black exhaust tips, black-painted hood, sunroof, towing package, and Pirelli summer performance tires. Every Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak also features a special badge embedded in the carbon-fiber trim ahead of the passenger seat, marking it as a true one-of-a-kind build.
And if that still isn’t enough customization for you, Dodge takes things a step further with its Jailbreak Custom Color program — first introduced on the 1,025-horsepower 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170. Through this option, the 2026 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat Jailbreak can be painted in virtually any color you can dream up. The Stryker Purple example shown here is just one stunning possibility, a shade once offered as a factory option for the legendary Dodge Viper.
Under the skin, the Jailbreak remains the same formidable Durango SRT Hellcat enthusiasts have admired for years. Now in its third generation — a run that began back in 2010 — the SUV has aged remarkably well, thanks in part to the 2021 arrival of its supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V-8. This powerhouse delivers an impressive 710 horsepower and 645 lb-ft of torque, enough to launch the three-row SUV from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.4 seconds and through the quarter mile in 11.7 seconds, according to a HARJA test.
Pricing for the 2026 Dodge Durango SRT lineup hasn’t been released yet, but the Jailbreak package is expected to be a relative bargain compared to the personalization programs offered by Bentley, Rolls-Royce, or Ferrari. For reference, Dodge first introduced the Jailbreak treatment in 2022 for the Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody at a cost of $995, before making it a no-cost upgrade for all 2023 SRT models.
The standard Durango SRT Hellcat will remain in production alongside the Jailbreak for 2026, with base pricing likely to start below $90,000. Orders for the 2026 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat open August 13, and first deliveries are scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2025.
