2026 Infiniti QX60 First Look: What’s New in This Sleek Subtle Refresh?

With updated tech, a fresh look, and a new trim in the mix, this three-row luxury SUV gets a well-deserved second wind—right on the heels of its enhanced engine.

Following the debut of the all-new Infiniti QX80 flagship, Infiniti is turning its attention to the 2026 Infiniti QX60, which receives a significant update. While not a full redesign, this midcycle refresh builds on the second-generation model that was first introduced in 2021.

Fresh New Look for the 2026 Infiniti QX60

The 2026 Infiniti QX60 arrives with a refreshed exterior design that enhances its upscale appeal. While the three-row luxury SUV was already easy on the eyes, it now features a bolder, more modern presence. Key updates include a newly styled front grille with vertical slats and redesigned front LED running lights that are now more sharply segmented, adding to its refined and dynamic look.

Infiniti kept the rear design of the 2026 QX60 largely unchanged from the 2025 model. However, a subtle update is the removal of the Infiniti logo from beneath the rear wiper, leaving only the brand name spelled out. Senior manager Anand Patel explained that this change was intended to create a cleaner, more streamlined look.

The 18-inch wheels have been discontinued, and all 2026 QX60 models now come standard with 20-inch wheels. Additionally, Infiniti has introduced new paint colors, including the striking Deep Emerald shade showcased in these photos.

    Inside Details

It’s a bit disappointing that the QX60 didn’t inherit the completely redesigned interior found in the new QX80. However, the top-tier Autograph trim now offers a third upholstery color option called Stone Gray. True to its name, this new interior combines varying shades of gray with contrast stitching and open-pore wood accents. Up close, it reflects the popular Millennial Gray aesthetic, giving the cabin a modern, sophisticated feel.

Exclusively available on Autograph-trim QX60s—for the time being—is the ProPilot Assist 2.1 system. This hands-free adaptive cruise control technology from Nissan rivals competitors like General Motors’ Super Cruise and Ford’s BlueCruise. You can spot QX60s equipped with this feature by their distinctive dual dorsal antennas.

Although we haven’t tested this feature on the Infiniti QX60 yet, during our first drive of the new Nissan Armada last December, we observed the system’s capability to suggest and carry out lane changes with the driver’s approval. The feature did temporarily go offline due to “3D-map data maintenance,” but since these advanced systems receive regular over-the-air updates, we expect their performance to continue improving.

The 2026 Infiniti QX60 also introduces enhanced technology, including an upgraded and expanded 360-degree top-down camera system with a new “hood view.” This feature allows drivers to see what’s directly beneath the SUV’s front bumper—a helpful addition for navigating tricky blind spots. This advanced camera setup comes standard on Luxe trims and above.

The refresh also modernizes the driver information cluster on all trims, featuring twin 12.3-inch digital displays that provide all essential data at a glance. Additionally, the infotainment system has been upgraded to include built-in Google apps like Google Maps, enhancing connectivity and convenience.

Lastly, the 2026 model year bids farewell to the Sensory trim, making way for the new Sport trim. True to its name, the Sport trim delivers a more athletic and aggressive look, featuring a redesigned front fascia, darkened exterior accents, and gloss-black wheels. It also comes standard with captain’s chairs in the second row. Inside, the Dusk Blue interior color scheme adds a dramatic and stylish touch.

      Power and Pricing

The 2026 Infiniti QX60 carries over its powertrain from the 2025 model, which replaced the previous V-6 with a 2.0-liter variable-compression turbo engine (VC-Turbo). However, HARJA editors described this engine as “unrefined” and “laggy” in real-world driving. While this refresh could have been the perfect time to introduce a hybrid option, fans will need to wait a bit longer for that upgrade.

Although the exact pricing for the 2026 Infiniti QX60 has not been announced yet, it’s expected to follow Infiniti’s usual strategy of positioning itself slightly below competitors. This approach offers buyers a more affordable luxury SUV option, now enhanced with updated technology to match.
