Absent from the United States market for decades, we were thrilled when Alfa Romeo returned to the states. The Giulia sedan and the Stelvio and Tonale crossovers offer the same classic Italian style and unfettered driving enjoyment that defined the brand in its domestic heyday. We love Alfas for their unabashedly Italian design, but unfortunately, they also suffer from unabashedly poor reliability: the Giulia Quadrifoglio we had for a 40,000-mile test broke our hearts with its dreadful record of repairs…
