What’s New for 2026?

Under the hood, the hybrid powertrain is all new, pairing a newly engineered turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine with an updated 48-volt hybrid system. Additionally, the hybrid CLA models will be complemented by two new fully electric CLA variants, set to launch prior to the hybrid versions.

Pricing and Which Model to Choose

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz CLA-class is expected to start at around $47,000, with prices potentially reaching up to $58,000 depending on the chosen trim and optional features. Mercedes has not yet released official zero-to-60 mph figures for the CLA hybrid. However, they do state that the most powerful electric version can accelerate to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. Since the hybrid model is expected to have significantly less power than the fully electric variant, it’s likely the CLA hybrid will take closer to around 6.0 seconds to reach 60 mph.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG
