    What’s New for 2025 Aston Martin DB12 ?

For 2025, the Aston Martin DB12 remains largely unchanged, with no major updates or revisions announced. It continues to deliver its blend of luxury, performance, and cutting-edge technology without significant alterations from the previous model year.

Pricing and Which One to Buy

The 2025 Aston Martin DB12 starts at $251,825 and can climb up to $271,825 depending on the chosen options and customization.

    Trim Starting MSRP (est.)
    Coupe
    $251,825
    Volante
    $271,825

If we had to choose, we’d recommend going with the coupe version. It’s lighter, quicker, and generally more practical compared to other variants. The DB12 is available in a single, well-equipped trim level that’s essentially fully loaded right from the factory. However, Aston Martin’s extensive personalization program lets you tailor your DB12 exactly to your taste, making it a truly bespoke luxury sports car.

    Engine, Transmission, and Performance

True to its grand tourer heritage, the 2025 Aston Martin DB12 is a performance thoroughbred. Under the hood lies a potent twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine delivering 671 horsepower. This power is channeled through an eight-speed automatic transmission paired with an electronic rear differential for sharp, confident handling.

We had the chance to experience the DB12 coupe on twisty mountain roads in the south of France and the DB12 Volante convertible cruising along the Pacific Coast Highway in Southern California. Both drives left us impressed by the car’s combination of raw V-8 muscle and finely balanced handling. Aston Martin manages to preserve a comfortable ride even in the most aggressive driving mode, maintaining impressive cornering agility without making the suspension too harsh.

However, the throttle response can sometimes feel a bit too aggressive and slightly mismatched with the car’s otherwise refined character—something that might take some getting used to depending on your driving style. Overall, the DB12 delivers a thrilling yet composed grand touring experience.

      0–60-MPH Times

While we haven’t had the opportunity to personally test the 2025 DB12 yet, expected performance figures are impressive. The coupe is anticipated to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 202 mph. The Volante convertible trails just slightly, with a projected 0–60 mph time of around 3.4 seconds.

      Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

The 2025 Aston Martin DB12 carries EPA fuel-economy ratings of 15 mpg city and 22 mpg highway for both the coupe and Volante models. While these numbers aren’t exactly impressive, they’re expected for a high-performance sports car packing 671 horsepower under the hood.

When we get a chance, we’ll put the DB12 through our 75-mph highway fuel-economy test and update this story with real-world results. For the latest official fuel economy details, you can also check out the EPA’s website.

      Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

In a grand-touring sports car like the DB12, interior quality and comfort are just as crucial as performance. Aston Martin delivers on this front with a cabin richly adorned in high-end materials. Hand-stitched leather covers nearly every surface, from the dashboard to the seats, which come in three distinct styles to suit different preferences.

Cargo space is also an important factor for a car built for long-distance travel. While we don’t yet have exact details on how many carry-on suitcases the DB12 can accommodate, we’ll update this story once we have a chance to test and measure the cargo capacity firsthand.

        Infotainment and Connectivity

The 2025 Aston Martin DB12 debuts the brand’s first fully in-house developed infotainment system. It features a sharp 10.3-inch center touchscreen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for seamless smartphone integration.

Standard audio comes from an 11-speaker system, while audiophiles can upgrade to a premium 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system for a richer, more immersive listening experience.

          Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

The 2025 Aston Martin DB12 comes well-equipped with a suite of standard driver-assistance technologies to enhance safety and driving confidence. Key features include:

          • Automated emergency braking

          • Lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist

          • Adaptive cruise control

          • Automatic high-beam headlamps

For more detailed information about the DB12’s crash-test ratings, you can visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) websites.

          Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

Aston Martin offers warranty coverage comparable to other luxury automakers, but with some key differences:

          • Limited warranty: 3 years with unlimited miles

          • Powertrain warranty: 3 years with unlimited miles

          • Scheduled maintenance: No complimentary maintenance visits included

So while the DB12’s warranty protections are solid, owners should plan for out-of-pocket costs when it comes to regular maintenance.
